Renaming Database Tables via phpMyAdmin

In the following tutorial, we’ll show you how to rename database tables using phpMyAdmin.

Renaming Database Tables

Step 1: Navigate to cPanel > Databases and open phpMyAdmin.

Step 2: Once inside, choose the database table you want to rename from the left hand column and then click on Operations.

Step 3: Scroll right down to Table options, enter the new name for your table within the box titled Rename table to and once you’re ready click Go.

Done! You’ve with success renamed the info table using phpMyAdmin.
