How to Enable/Disable SpamAssassin

It uses scores to rate the likelihood that a message is a spam, as you enable SpamAssassin. The messages marked as spam can be configure by SpamAssassin to delete automatically, however this feature we do not recommend.

When you enable SpamAssassin, it uses scores to rate the likelihood that a message is a spam.  You can configure SpamAssassin to automatically delete messages marked as spam however, we do not recommend enabling this feature.

Enable/Disable SpamAssassin From cPanel:

1 Login to your cPanel account.

2 Seach for Email section in the search box.

3 In the Email section of the cPanel home screen, click “Spam Filters”.

4 On this page find the email account that you are trying to configure, and press the “Set Up Mail Client” link:

5 Click on “Enable Spam Assassin” or “Disable Spam Assassin” depending on what you are trying to achieve.
