How to download Softaculous backups?

Softaculous permits you to create/restore/download backup from the user friendly web interface. Following are the steps to download the backup from web browser

1. Login to cPanel, navigate to Software/Services tab and click on Softaculous
2. From the right corner top menu, click on the “Backups and Restore” option, the icon looks like a zipped folder
3. You will see the list of all backups that you had previously created
4. Click on the first blue arrow icon, to download the backup

If the backup file size is small it’ll be downloaded quickly however sometimes the backup can’t be downloaded through the web browser, if the data size is larger. To download the backup, we suggest to use FTP client. Connect up with FTP client, navigate to softaculous_backups folder. You’ll get the list of accessible backups and you’ll be able to download it on your local machine.
