Fix :: Websites with URL Rewrite do not work in Windows VPS

In this tutorial you will learn how to fix issue with Rewrite rules in Windows server. If your al websites with Rewrite Rules were not working, by investigation we changed the Application pool of those websites to “Integrated mode”. So to change the application pool we performed the steps as given below.

1. Go to Start → Administrative Tools → IIS Manager.
2. In connection windows, Click on the server name and expand it.
3. Now expand Sites.
4. Select the Website in question and right-click on it.
5. Under Manage website select Advanced Settings.
6. Click on the Application pool and Select the application pool with integrated from the dropdown.
7. Click OK.
8. Restart your Website.
