How to allow an FTP server through Windows Firewall

All the connections that are attempting to access the FTP server are the security feature of Windows firewall blocks . With ther help of the subsequent steps you’ll be able to enable the FTP server through the firewall :

1. Click on Start menu, look for Windows Firewall and click on Enter.

2. Through Windows Firewall link Click on Allow an app or feature.

3. After allowing an app or feature click on the Change Settings button.

4. Within the Allow apps and features section, check the FTP Server and on a Private and Public network check that you simply enable it.

5. Then Click on OK.

By now, to connect your recently created FTP server you should be able to use your favorite FTP client from your local network.

Note: If you’re using alternative software package than Windows Firewall, then check that to see your software vendor support web site for specific directions to permit an FTP server.
