How to Delete a MySQL Database in a cPanel Account?

Warning: Deleting a database means that you will permanently lose its data. Make sure before deleting the information to take a backup.

Following are the steps to Delete a MySQL Database

1. Log in to your cPanel account.

2. Click on MySQL® Databases from the bsection.

It will open the MySQL® Databases application

After that navigate to the Current Databases section, where you will see a list of active databases.

3. Under the Actions column click on Delete for the database you wish to delete.

A confirmation message will get appear for Delete database make sure to delete and confirm it.

4. Click on Delete Database.

In this way cPanel will delete the MySQL database and remove it from the list of Current Databases.
