Not able to Park OR add a Addon domain
You receive message as below, when Parking OR adding a Addon domain from cPanel .
“Using nameservers with the following IPs: Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver. “
This is as a result of unregistered domains OR domains pointing to another IP’s don’t seem to be allowed to be added on the server. You either need to ask your web hosting provider to modify it OR create the changes if you host a VPS OR dedicated server.
As root Login to your WHM & access option Tweaks Settings. Set to On below 2 options & click Save.
Allow Remote Domains – Permit creation of parked/addon domains that resolve to alternative servers (e.g. domain transfers) This will be a serious security problem. If you need to have it enabled, make sure to not permit users to park common web domains.
Allow unregistered domains – Permit creation of parked/addon domains that don’t seem to be registered.
Now you can try it. You will be able to add the domains
