How To Disable ClamAV in cPanel/WHM?

For Linux OS ClamAV work as a renowned anti virus. But, it consumes lot of memory being a resource hogger. It directly affects your server performance.

Simply login to your WHM as root, if you wish to disable ClamAV & access option Service Configuration then go to Service Manager. To disable it untick a service.

From WHM uninstalling of ClamAV can be performed as well. As a root user cPanel go to Manage Plugins. Untick the option near ClamAV and click on Uninstall Clamavconnector.
