How To Edit SMTP Settings / Outgoing Mail Server Settings

SMTP settings are similar to that of your Outgoing Mail Server settings. “SMTP” stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. it is a set of communication tips that permit software to transmit email over the web.

For communication purpose most email software is designed to uses SMTP, once sending email that only works for outgoing messages.

There are 2 different protocols, POP3 and IMAP, that are incoming settings used for retrieving and storing email. Each of those settings are typically needed to properly established any mail client so it should communicate together with your host’s mail server.
