Clear the cache in Magento

Many times, it happens that the changes or modifications made to Magento web site doesn’t seem. The cache in Magento needed to be clear. Let us to find out about clearing the cache.

The installation directory of Magento includes the cache at /var/cache. The cache will be stored at /public_html/magento_sample/var/cache If Magento is installed in /public_html/magento_sample directory.

Deletion of cache:-

1) Locate the folder /public_html/magento_sample/var/cache
2) Open the directory
3) Delete all the content in /var/cache directory

In a web browser Reload your website (Ctrl + F5) and you will be able to see the modifications appearing on your website. In the same way, by removing the content of /var/session directory the sessions can be deleted in your Magento installation directory.
