Updating the Outgoing Port Number and Server Settings

Let’s see the procedure for Updating the Outgoing Port Number and Server Settings as below:

Step 1: Go to Mail-> Preferences -> Accounts

Step 2: Click on the arrows beside the name of the outgoing server (ssl-domain.abc.com) and select Edit Server List

Step 3: Select the Advanced Tab

Step 4: Click on outgoing server to select it

You can –

  • Edit Outgoing port number to 465
  • Turn the SSL on
  • Enter full email address for the User Name
  • Enter Password

Click Done button when you are get completed.
