If you change the shared IP address of your server or if you add a new IP address to a server or, you may want to update several accounts in as few clicks as possible. This can be done using root WHM\u2019s \u201cChange Multiple Sites\u2019 IP Addresses\u201d feature.<\/p>\n

1. You have to Log into\u00a0WHM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. Navigate to Home,\u00a0Select Multi-Account Functions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Following that, the cPanel\/WHM program will go through each account and update the DNS zone as well as all Apache configuration files to represent the new IP address. When a site\u2019s IP address is changed, the DNS may not spread to all nameservers on the internet, causing the site to appear down in certain places.<\/p>\n
