  1. You have to Go to Magento official website and download the latest version in Zip format: http:\/\/www.magentocommerce.com\/download.<\/li>\n
  2. With your\u00a0cPanel >> File Manager<\/strong>\u00a0or using your choice of FTP client upload the zip file and unzip it. You can upload the zip file either in the public_html folder or create a new folder under the main directory\u00a0ex<\/strong>: public_html\/magento, where you will get an access URL like\u00a0http:\/\/www.yoursite.com\/magento\u00a0. Once it is unzipped, make sure to change the files permissions to\u00a0755<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Now, its time to create a MySQL database and associate a user to it, which can be done through your\u00a0cPanel >> MySQL Databases<\/strong>. Note down the database details as you will require it when installing the script.<\/li>\n
  4. In this tutorial, the installation of magento will be done in the subfolder \u201cMagento\u201d which is created under the main directory. Now open this URL in your browser:\u00a0http:\/\/yourdomainname.com\/magento<\/li>\n
