Steps to Copy MySQL Database<\/h3>\n

In order to copy a MySQL database using phpMyAdmin, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

1. Log in to cPanel account.<\/p>\n

2. Under the\u00a0Databases<\/strong>\u00a0section of the cPanel home screen, click on\u00a0phpMyAdmin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The phpMyAdmin administration page will get displayed in a new window.<\/p>\n

3. In the left pane, click on the name of the database that you want to copy.<\/p>\n

4. Click on\u00a0Operations<\/strong>\u00a0on the top menu bar.<\/p>\n

5. Under\u00a0Copy database to<\/strong>, in the text box type the name that you want for the new database.<\/p>\n

6. For copying everything into the new database, select\u00a0Structure<\/strong>\u00a0and data. Or if you only want to copy the database structure, select\u00a0Structure<\/strong>\u00a0only, and none of the data will be copied.<\/p>\n

7. Prior to copying check box, select the\u00a0Create Database<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

8. Check the\u00a0Add AUTO_INCREMENT<\/strong>\u00a0value check box.<\/p>\n

9. Now, click on\u00a0Go<\/strong>. With this,\u00a0phpMyAdmin<\/strong>\u00a0will create a new database using the name you mentioned in step 5, and then copies it. When it finishes, you will find the new database in the list of databases in the left pane.<\/p>\n
