At the side of these, you will be able to see columns for the number of messages each folder contains and the size of each folder.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong>\u00a0To free up disk space, go to the\u00a0<strong>Actions<\/strong>\u00a0column and click\u00a0<strong>Manage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.<\/strong>\u00a0Under\u00a0<strong>Messages to delete<\/strong>, there are several filters you can select to choose the emails you wish to delete. These are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1 year old or more<\/strong>: Choose this option to delete messages over one year old.<\/li>\n<li><strong>30 MB in size or more<\/strong>: Choose this option to delete deletes messages larger than 30 MB.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Previously viewed<\/strong>: Choose this option to delete messages that have previously been read.<\/li>\n<li><strong>All messages<\/strong>: Choose this option to delete all messages in the folder.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Custom query<\/strong>: Choose this option to search for specific messages, e.g. by age, terms in the subject line, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Custom query uses Dovecot search tags. You can find a list of these at \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wiki2.dovecot.org\/Tools\/Doveadm\/SearchQuery\">Dovecot\u2019s SearchQuery page<\/a>.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>6.<\/strong>\u00a0To permanently delete the messages, click\u00a0<strong>Delete Permanently<\/strong>.
