Even after installing the CSF Firewall application, some users may not be able to send emails. This issue is more common with WordPress users and, by allowing outbound SMTP you can resolve it for the CSF Firewall via WHM.<\/p>\n

To Allow Outbound SMTP in CSF Firewall follow the below given steps:<\/p>\n

1. As root account Login to your WHM.<\/p>\n

2. From the menu Access Plugins<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

3. Now click on ConfigServer Security<\/strong> & Firewall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The will open the CSF application.<\/p>\n

4. Choose the csf<\/strong> tab and in the csf- ConfigServer Firewall<\/strong> section click the Firewall Configuration<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

Now you will see the ConfigServer Firewall\u2019s configuration interface.<\/p>\n

5. For the SMTP_BLOCK<\/strong> field select the SMTP<\/strong> Settings section and click the Off<\/strong> switch .<\/p>\n

6. After that scroll to the bottom and click on the Change<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

It will save the changes you made.<\/p>\n

7. Finally click on the Restart csf+lfd<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

It will restart the CSF application and apply the changes you made.<\/p>\n
