$base_url = 'http:\/\/serverip\/~test';<\/strong><\/pre>\n
Step 3:<\/strong>\u00a0You must now configure the\u00a0.htaccess<\/strong>\u00a0for appropriate redirection.<\/p>\n
Step 4:<\/strong>\u00a0Open\u00a0.htaccess<\/strong>\u00a0file in the drupal directory. (\/public_html\/your-test-website\/.htaccess)<\/p>\n
Find the line which says \u2018RewriteBase \/<\/strong>\u2018<\/p>\n
Un-comment the line and replace it with the following:<\/p>\n
RewriteBase \/~username<\/strong><\/pre>\n
Step 5:<\/strong>\u00a0Save the file.<\/p>\n
Now try accessing your domain using the temporary URL:<\/p>\n
http:\/\/yourserverip\/~username\/your-test-website<\/strong><\/pre>\n
