Windows hosting servers are best to host web site and it supports totally different Microsoft technologies and due to different activities on hosting resources in server if primary mail server IP address is blocked in any spam checker sites ( eg BARRACUDA, SORBS-SPAM etc) then there’s only 1 solution, that’s ever-changing the mail server IP address on the server.<\/p>\n

You can simply change the mail server IP address in cPanel by using \/etc\/mailips file. Aa similar in PLESK you change the outgoing mail server IP address by using \u201c\/var\/qmail\/control\/smtproutes\u201dfile.<\/p>\n

Below are the steps which shows how to change the mail server ip address in PLESK :<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Firstly , by using the following file check the domain name which is hosted on the Windows hosting server<\/p>\n

cat\/var\/qmail\/control\/rcpthosts\r\ndomain1.com\r\ndomain2.com\r\ndomain3.com\r\ndomain4.com\r\ndomain5.com<\/pre>\n
Step 2:<\/strong> On PLESK server the \u201c\/var\/qmail\/control\/smtproutes\u201d file is not present by default, you have to create it.<\/p>\n
vi \/var\/qmail\/control\/smtproutes<\/pre>\n
Step 3:<\/strong> Then add the new ip address in the format as shown below.<\/p>\n
domain1.com:192.168.x.2\r\ndomain2.com:192.168.x.2<\/pre>\n
Step 4:<\/strong> After that Save the file and restart qmail<\/p>\n
\/etc\/init.d\/qmail restart<\/pre>\n
Note:<\/strong> To original IP address please replace the \u201c192.168.x.2\u201d and the \u201cyourdomain.com\u201d as same that of the original domain name.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
